Neuromodulators are injectable products that aim to soften and prevent wrinkles in the face.
The objective of this treatment is to temporarily block facial muscles from contracting, thus reducing wrinkles that result from movement. This is done by injecting neuromodulators into the facial muscles.
Who is the Ideal Candidate for neuromodulators Treatment?
You may be an ideal candidate for neuromodulators if your facial skin is beginning to reveal wrinkles on your forehead, between your eyebrows, or around your eyes (crow’s feet).
Neuromodulators do not get rid of static wrinkles (deep wrinkles that are permanently present). Neuromodulators eliminate dynamic wrinkles (wrinkles that appear with movement) and prevent them from becoming permanent. The most common locations are the following:
- Horizontal wrinkles on the forehead
- Wrinkles between your eyebrows (glabellar lines or frown lines)
- Wrinkles around the eyes (crow’s feet)
What do neuromodulators Consist of?
Generally, injections of neuromodulators begin with small amounts of product, deposited into specific muscles. Dr. Alain Azzi will deposit the neuromodulator with the use of a very fine needle.
The full effects of the procedure typically peak after two weeks.

During the consultation, Dr. Alain Azzi will perform a physical exam, and will discuss your specific needs. A member of our patient care coordination department will subsequently provide you with details, regarding the cost of Botox in Montreal.
